Privacy Policy

ShipCalc China is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and process information when you interact with our calculators and website.

1. Mathematical Calculations

All carton dimensions, weights, and tariff computations occur locally in your browser. Calculation parameters are not collected or stored unless you voluntarily submit a quote request.

2. Quote Inquiries

When you submit a rate inquiry, we securely process your provided name, business email, and cargo specifications exclusively to prepare your shipping quote. To protect the form against automated abuse, we also record the submitting IP address, used solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We never sell or share contact details with third-party marketers.

3. Data Retention

Submitted inquiry records (including the recorded IP address) are stored in our own database and are automatically and permanently deleted 24 months after submission. The calculators themselves store nothing (see section 1).

4. Security & Bot Prevention

Form submissions are protected against automated abuse by a hidden honeypot field, per-IP rate limiting, and origin checks. A Cloudflare Turnstile human-verification widget will be added to these defenses once its site credentials are configured; until then this page does not claim Turnstile protection.
